My passion for music and stage has a deep spiritual foundation from growing up in church as the daughter of a minister. The gift of hearing harmony lines came quite naturally and I began singing at the young age of 6 years old with my mother and older siblings as part of our family quartet. As an itinerant pastor, my dad would relocate about every 4 years which provided the opportunity to experience life across the Midwest. We settled in Danville, KY, as I was entering middle school which remained home until I moved to Lexington to attend the University of Kentucky and then to Louisville, KY after college. I presently reside in Jeffersontown with my husband and two amazing sons.

Over the years, I have performed vocally with a variety of mass choirs and smaller ensembles. I am currently a member of the Vocal Team as well as Worship Choir at Southeast Christian Church. Involvement with the worship ministry and its distinguished staff has provided numerous opportunities to not only expand my vocal talents but also gain stage experience through 8 years of participation in the Southeast Easter Pageant. I have also had the privilege of singing in back-up choirs with Christian artist, Michael W. Smith, at both Whitney Hall in Louisville and Carnegie Hall in New York City. In January 2014, I will be performing with him once again at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC.

My career has been primarily focused with YUM! Brands in Louisville, where I currently hold the title of Employment Programs Coordinator. I celebrated my 24th anniversary with the company in August 2013.

My Dad was a WWII Purple Heart Veteran, who proudly served in the U.S. Army. He was a true patriot and taught each of his children to love and respect our great nation and the men and women who fight for the liberties we hold dear. I consider it a true honor and privilege to pay tribute to our U.S. Veterans and active military with The Ladies for Liberty.
